2008 - Madame Comtesse + Enfant de Paris

Clothes: from Madame Comtesse personal wardrobePhotography: Jens IhnkensFashion Concept + Styling: meThis was one of my favorites projects to today. done while I was still living in Frankfurt and collaborating with E.D.P. .One day Marlon came to me and told me his business partner, "Olly extraordinaire", had kinda off herited 3x rails of Madame Comtesse herself, designer vintage wardrobe. They wanted to do a shoot to sell these to Frankfurters creative ones.In a nutshell, madame Comtesse was the founder of Comtess luxury bags, a kinda off German Chanel bag queen, and overall a LADY, a true character. Olly had been her personal hairdresser since like he was born ... and delight of the the delights when she passed away on 27 she left a little something in her will to him: 4 decades of wardrobe in 3x rails full of vintage designer clothes - Valentino, Chanel, Ferre, Courreges, Ungaro, you name it ... all inclusive.Goody,Goody! The concept was to bring the clothes out of the body, model and clothes roles inverted: the clothes are the model, the model is the hanger, the story is on the clothes, not on the model. Following this route, we went along discovering while shooting news ways to relate clothes and body, and these images were the result.
